Lizzie & Dan's New Years Eve wedding in the desert is simply breathtaking. The couple and some close friends have vacationed here many times over the course of their 10 year relationship, so they thought it was the perfect location for their intimate celebration. Lizzie is truly stunning in LD6015 and we love her bright florals against the raw desert backdrop. Thank you so very much to Rebecca from Birds of a Feather for capturing the striking beauty of this bride on her special day. Congratulations to Lizzie & Dan, we wish you all the very best in the future~ Make sure to catch it on Green Wedding Shoes too!

Excited to share this gallery of gorgeous images from Ben Q. Photography. Check out the stunning way he captured the sheer neckline on our HB6565 alongside some lush, earthy florals by our friends at bows and arrows. We also love how the headpiece of greens sits low at the back of the bride's loose curls. Thanks to an amazing team of vendors for creating such beauty and sharing it with us! We have been so excited to share these photos from our bride Alex's wedding. Her wedding took place at her family's restaurant in Cape May and there is so much love incorporated into each and every aspect of the day. She looks so delicately elegant in our CH6300 dress, it was perfect choice for the light and intimate event surrounded by friends and family. Thank you so much to Sasha and Jessie Felix of Felix Studios for these gorgeous photos, we had a hard time choosing between them! Thanks also to Cape Winds Florist, Steve Olszewski and Nikki Valentine for the decor and Wesley Laudeman and Lindsay Givens for the invitations. And finally congratulations to Alex and Brad, we wish you all the very best!! Saja: How did you meet? Alex: We met in college at Wake Forest University. We were friends and neighbors and slowly fell in love with each other. Saja: Which of the photos is your favorite? Alex: I absolutely love them all. I love the series in front of the white barn door, especially one where we are looking at each other and the sleeve of my dress is fluttering. There's one where we are both looking past the camera and laughing because our neighbors were sneaking pictures from their upstairs windows, it was a moment that broke our nerves. Saja: How did he propose? Alex: He proposed on Christmas Eve in our kitchen. I was sick and had worked a long night, was tired and not feeling well. He was making me tea and called me in to help him find it in the cabinet. I turned the corner and he was on one knee. Even though I knew it was coming he managed to take me completely by surprise. Saja: Is there anything about the photos you can point out that we might have missed? Alex: We tried to use the strengths and skills of our friends whenever possible. Our best friend Gabe married us. It was the most genuine and heartwarming ceremony we could've dreamed of. My friend Steve Olszewski did all of the decor for the wedding, perfectly capturing the time, place, and mood of the moment. He even hand-dyed the bunting around the altar and his mom sewed it! My sister and my best friend did all of the illustrations and lettering on our invitations. They turned out perfectly intimate and playful, each with a special significance. Saja: Where did the wedding take place? Alex: The wedding took place at my father's restaurant The Lobster House in Cape May, NJ. The restaurant has been in our family since its inception 3 generations ago; I worked there growing up, and the people there are like family so I always knew it had to be there. It's historic, on the waterfront, and just a spectacular setting so we tried to let it shine without too much fuss. Saja: What was your favorite part of the day?
Alex: This is nearly impossible to answer! Walking down our makeshift aisle on the dock with my father as all of our friends and family cheered and clapped was absolutely momentous. Dancing with Brad to "Once in a Lifetime" by the Talking Heads, dizzy with champagne and joy was a high point of my life as well. Katie & Ryan's wedding took place at what the bride called her "favorite place in the world." Everything from the setting to Katie's styling is simply breathtaking and the sheer details on HB6633 make it all the more stunning. Thank you so much to Eminence Photo for capturing all of this beauty and sharing it with us. Many congratulations to Katie and Ryan, we wish you all the very best~ Saja: How did you meet? Katie: We met in NYC and were set up by Ryan’s cousin and my best friend who were dating at the time. Saja: How did he propose? Katie: Ryan proposed at my family’s farm – the same place that we were married. It’s where I grew up and is incredibly special to me. Saja: Which of the photos is your favorite? Why? Katie: The photo of us kissing after we got married is one of my favorites because of the look of joys on our brothers’ and my sister’s faces. Saja: Where did the wedding take place? What made you choose there? Katie: The wedding took place on my family farm where I grew up, and is one of my favorite places in the world. Saja: What was your favorite part of the day?
Katie: The whole day was incredibly special because of all of the wonderful people that it involved and how personal the details were to us. My brother married us, my sister and Ryan’s brother were are best man + maid of honor that married us, the cord, veil + coins that we used during the ceremony were the same ones that Ryan’s brother and sister used in their weddings, and the hanky that was wrapped around my bouquet is the same one that my mother, grandmother, and great grandmother used in their weddings. We can’t imagine a better wedding. Although it may not be the real thing, Janna and Justin's styled wedding by Lea Nicole Photography is simply stunning. We love the beautiful way she brought our HB6622 to life. Special thanks to Mary Kendall Butler of Bella Bridesmaids in Mobile, Rae Culver, Whitlee Mullis, Kamee Style, and Lush Makeup Art by Rebecca as well for their hands in styling such gorgeous inspiration. Hope this brightens your Monday the way it did ours!

We're absolutely loving these photos from KC & Katie's wedding at one of our favorite NYC venues, My Moon Restaurant. Our bride, KC is absolutely gorgeous in LD6001 and the setting couldn't have been more perfect for their chic, intimate affair. Special thanks to Lorenzo Vigil for sharing these images with us, we especially love the shots of KC and the unique Brooklyn street art! Congratulations again to both of these beautiful brides!
We're continuing this week with another beautiful wedding from Florida! Megan told her dad she wanted to have her wedding at the Don CeSar in St. Pete Beach ever since visiting her grandparents as a kid and we love how beautifully it came together so many years later! Her and Josh's special day is so full of love and she is stunning in our HB6899 dress. Thanks so much to Stephanie Smith for sharing these images with us and congratulations again to Megan and Josh~ Saja: How did he propose? Megan: Josh took me on a surprise trip to Big Sur, California for my 30th birthday. We stayed at a beautiful resort right on the coast. The day Josh proposed, we had taken a hike and found a secluded bench overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Josh suggested we return there to watch the sunset and that’s where he asked me to marry him. Saja: What was your favorite part of the day? Megan: I loved the entire day but my favorite part was the ceremony. We had a wonderful, thoughtful officiant, Grace Felice (from A Wedding with Grace), and she designed the most personal and lovely ceremony. The ceremony truly was the heart of our wedding day. Saja: Where did the wedding take place? What made you choose there?
Megan: The wedding took place at the historic Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Josh and I are originally from the east coast, and we now live in California, but I really wanted a location that meant something. The Don CeSar is only a mile from the condo my grandparents owned in Florida and a place I frequently visited growing up. As a child, I would tease my dad that one day I would get married at the Don CeSar, so it just seemed right. Alissa was such a kind, easy-going and beautiful bride. She looks absolutely stunning on her wedding day in sunny Osprey, Florida. We love the way she paired our HB6565 dress with a soft floral headband. Thanks so much to Esther Louise Photography for sharing these photos with us. Alissa said, "Esther is spectacular and just so much fun to work with and such a genuinely cool person." Many congratulations to Alissa and her groom, we wish you much happiness together~ Saja: How did you meet? Alissa: We met at a work Halloween party. He was a lumberjack and I was a cat and I was too shy to talk to him so I made my friend approach him. Saja: How did he propose? Alissa: He proposed at Lake Canandaigua in the Finger Lakes which is where we originally got to know each other after spending a month out of town on a work trip. Saja: Where did the wedding take place? What made you choose there? Alissa: The wedding took place in Osprey, Florida which is right by Siesta Key. We wanted to bring out friends and family to Siesta Key which is a very special destination for us. Peter’s parents have a condo down in Siesta Key and we’ve been vacationing here ever since we first started dating. Saja: What was your favorite part of the day? Alissa: I can’t pick a favorite part of the day. Once the ceremony got started the entire day was simply magical. Saja: Which of the photos is your favorite? Why?
Alissa: The photo of us looking at each other with the reception in the background. We look as in love as we feel. We're loving the rustic fall colors at Mandy's wedding in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She is flawlessly styled in our AH6200 dress paired with the gold branch belt by Mimi Shim- the perfect fit for her hometown soiree to her college sweetheart. Special thanks to Hope Joy Photography and the father of the bride, Steve Haskin for sharing this collection of images with us! Many congratulations to Mandy and her groom, we wish you all the very best~ Saja: How did you meet? Mandy: We met in college. He was an actor and I saw him on stage several times before we actually met. I may or may not have slightly stalked him since I knew who he was, but he didn't know who I was. Not creepy at all. Saja: How did he propose? Mandy: He proposed in front of Jackson Square in New Orleans. Afterwards, we danced in front of a street jazz band and I couldn't stop squealing. We were on Thanksgiving vacation with my parents, so they were there to celebrate with us. Saja: Where did the wedding take place? What made you choose there? Mandy: The wedding was at a winery in Bucks County, PA. We chose it because it's not far from where I grew up, and because, well, it's a winery. Saja: What was your favorite part of the day? Why?
Mandy: Favorite part of the day was dancing at the reception towards the end of the night because all the stressful parts were over, and we could just relax and have fun. Plus we had a s'mores bar outside, and it was lovely to stand around the fire on a chilly October night. |
