Dominique's wedding alongside the St. Lawrence River is so full of love. She is absolutely radiant in the sheer scalloped neckline on AH6235, alongside her bridesmaids in Deep Fuchsia styles DU6574 and HB6631. What a joyous occasion, to be able to celebrate Dominique and her sister's pregnancy as well as a wedding all at once! Thanks so much to Mariane Baillargeon for capturing it all so beautifully! Saja: How did you meet? Dominique: Vincent and I met at a friend’s birthday party eleven years ago. I actually knew who he was because we had friends in common but we had never really hung out together before. We ended up chatting all night. He likes to say that that night it was love at first sight! Saja: How did he propose? Dominique: We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary while on vacation on the Italian Riviera. We had a nice romantic dinner overlooking the sea and afterwards we went strolling in the village. Once we got to the main square he stopped, took my hands into his and pulled a ring out of his pocket! He did not get down on his knees – he is not that traditional! – but he did ask for my father’s blessing before we left on vacation! Saja: Where did the wedding take place? What made you choose there? Dominique: The wedding was in the charming village of Cap-à-l’Aigle in Northern Quebec, Canada. Our friends built a magnificent house there overlooking the St. Lawrence River. We held the ceremony and cocktail on the patio and the dinner and party were in a tent just beside the house. Saja: What was your favorite part of the day? Dominique: The whole day was memorable but I have to say that the ceremony was very special. My little brother officiated and we exchanged our own vows. In addition our mothers and siblings said a few words. All in all it we received a gigantic dose of love! Congratulations, Dominique!!
Cecily & David were married at The Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn, overlooking the Manhattan skyline. Cecily looks absolutely amazing, and you can really feel the love in every picture. Thank you to 5 West Studios (http://5weststudios.com/) for sharing such wonderful images !
We can't get enough of Catherine's festive red, white and blue wedding in Milford, New Hampshire. She looks flawless and the detailing on the sheer neckline of her AH6235 dress is so delicate against her skin. Thanks so much to Brandon Rodkewitz for all of these amazing shots and congratulations to such a beautiful bride!
Happy Wednesday! We found the perfect thing to get you through this week-- Heather's amazingly beautiful wedding photos! Heather and Eric had the perfect wedding location in the South Bay Area in California at a vintage style ranch house. It is such a perfect garden wedding! Congratulations to the happy couple, and many thanks to Sun + Life Photography for taking such lovely images!
We had the pleasure of working with the very talented Casey Fatchett for a styled shoot… slightly different than we're used to. Casey's concept involved an aerial wedding starring a Saja bride floating on a trapeze with bridesmaids hanging from silks surrounding her. The dresses drift so beautifully through these photos and achieve a truly dreamy effect. Thank you so much for such incredible work and for such an inspired vision! Check out even more on Casey's blog.
