After having such an incredible experience with our bride Hannah and her loving grandparents here at the store, we couldn't be more excited to post these photos from her big day! She looks absolutely stunning!! We especially love the shots of Hannah alongside her sister (who is a Saja Bridesmaid!) and of her grandfather accompanying her down the aisle. Thank you so much to Rima Brindamour for sharing your incredible work. Congratulations one last time, Hannah! We wish you and your amazing family all the very best! Today, we are taking a moment to remember Hannah's elegant grandmother. Last year, she graced us with her presence when visiting our store with her grandfather to congratulate and generously pay for Hannah's wedding dress. Her grandfather and grandmother have been married for almost 65 years, we should all be so lucky. She is no longer with us but her loveliness made us truly feel privileged and love our jobs thanks to her. We will remember Hannah and her lovely family for a long time to come...

There's such a nautical charm to our bride, Molly's wedding. She looks effortlessly beautiful and so full of love. Thank you so much to Krista A. Jones Photography for these breathtaking images. Congratulations again to Molly and Alex!
These photos of our bride, Gretchen are simply stunning. She is radiating joy in each and every shot, captured so beautifully by Anika London. Thanks so much for sharing and congratulations again to an absolutely breathtaking bride!
There's nothing better than a wedding with a double dose of Saja brides, especially when they are as lovely as Heather and Crystal! It was such a pleasure to work with these brides to not only capture both of their personalities for their wedding day, but also style them side by side. They look absolutely radiant against the romantic and modern setting at My Moon restaurant out in Williamsburg. Congratulations, Heather and Crystal!! We wish you all the best! A very special thank you to their friend and photographer at Little Blue World for sharing, as well as Rebecca Shepherd and Kevin Bain for taking part.
We've seen Saja dresses in some pretty crazy places, but these incredible pictures by Jamie Dmitry Photography are the first to feature a trip in a canoe! Kristy makes such a breathtaking bride at the Belcroft Estate in Guilford, Ontario. Her stunning venue was decorated with lots of DIY details. All the flowers were grown by Kristy and her mom and assembled the day before the wedding at their family cottage. The wood slabs on the tables were from trees on the property and the barn board for the cupcake stand came from a local building. The table numbers were displayed on text from The Lord of the Rings, a book important to the groom. All the signs were assembled and painted by the groomsman and Kristy did the hand writing. Instead of a guest book her dad hand crafted a canoe paddle, with wood from a forest near their home. Kristy said "All the details and planning could not have created a more amazing day. The love, generosity, and support from our family and friends was overwhelming and created a truly unforgettable day." Thanks so much to Jamie Dimitry Photography for sharing these with us and congratulations to our lovely bride, Kristy!
We've received some really beautiful wedding pictures from picturesque Montana, and our bride Katy has some of our favorites! Her soft color palette and those delicate bouquets of lavender are so striking against the Gallatin Mountains. Although they had some unpredictable weather, Katy said "It was a perfect Montana day, and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way!" Thanks so much to Larry Stanley for such amazing work. Congratulations to Katy and Blair!!
We're taking a mental hiatus from this snowy NYC morning to swoon over these gorgeous photos of Agnes' warm and sunny California wedding. She looks radiantly flawless alongside endless rows of sunflowers, and how fun is that school bus? Thanks so much to Christina Richards for capturing the beauty of this incredible venue and this truly stunning bride!
Ben and Sarah are both from Australia, but met in Edinburgh, Scotland. When Ben returned to Australia and Sarah remained living in Scotland, the couple ended up having a long distance relationship and as such never got to travel the beautiful country together. For the wedding, they chose to “semi-elope” from Australia to Scotland, where they had met 5 years earlier. Sarah envisioned their wedding to be just the two of them in a rugged highland ruins and when Ben suggested Kilchurn Castle, a ruined castle built in 1450, it was perfect!
Saja: Tell us about the process of planning an elopement so far away.
Sarah: Our wedding was special to us as we had organized to elope and then were lucky to have my immediate family attend as well. The whole day and subsequent honeymoon were organized on the internet! My gorgeous Saja dress was obviously from New York, shoes were purchased via Ruche in USA, and the organization of the venue, bagpiper, celebrant was all done via email. It was a very easy fuss-free event to organize, just the way I like it!
Saja: Were there any quirks to planning your wedding at a castle rather than a traditional venue?
Sarah: It was the easiest part of the wedding to organize! A simple call to Historic Scotland was all it took and it ended up being the cheapest detail in the whole wedding as well (I believe my flowers were more expensive!) The only problem we had was when it rained non-stop the day before hand, and Historic Scotland rang me the day before to advise that the path leading to the castle was flooded and that I may need to look at a back up plan. The back up plan ended up being gumboots! Easy fix!
Saja: What was your favorite part of the day?
Sarah: Walking down the 1km aisle towards the castle with my dad behind our Bagpiper playing traditional Scottish ballads, and then entering the castle to see Ben and feel the excitement of what was to come.
Saja: Do you have any advice for brides planning a wedding at an exotic destination?
Sarah: Don’t get too caught up on an exotic venue, I think the focus should be on the day itself and what the day means to you and your partner. Also feel free to think outside the box when considering venues, consider alternate options that wouldn’t necessarily be associated with a wedding. You might be surprised what you come up with or what may be available once you actually ask.
Thank you so much to Bayly Moore for the incredible stop-motion film!!
