Congratulations to Christine & Jeff, we wish you all the best!
Christine is a past bride of ours, but has also become a friend to us here at Saja. Her wedding took place at Housing Works, a charming bookstore venue right around the corner from us, so we had the pleasure of dressing Christine here in the store! It was an incredibly special experience to share those pre-wedding moments with Christine and her amazing family. She makes such an elegant bride and looks truly stunning, head to toe. Her wedding was intimate, full of love and distinctly New York. Thank you so much to Marija Thomas for sharing some incredible shots with us!
Congratulations to Christine & Jeff, we wish you all the best!

There's nothing better than a wedding with a double dose of Saja brides, especially when they are as lovely as Heather and Crystal! It was such a pleasure to work with these brides to not only capture both of their personalities for their wedding day, but also style them side by side. They look absolutely radiant against the romantic and modern setting at My Moon restaurant out in Williamsburg. Congratulations, Heather and Crystal!! We wish you all the best! A very special thank you to their friend and photographer at Little Blue World for sharing, as well as Rebecca Shepherd and Kevin Bain for taking part.
Instead of wallowing in today's horrendous weather, treat yourself to these beautiful shots by one of our favorite photographers, Clean Plate Pictures. Thank you for sharing and to Caitlin for making such a stunning bride! Although days like today make it hard, her wedding at The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls definitely reminds us of the times we love being in New York!!
Jenny met her groom Ben through mutual friends. She had just started graduate school in Florida and regularly hanging out with colleagues from her department's research team. One of them showed her the Facebook page of a friend, Ben that she thought Jenny would be interested in. The same friend invited Jenny on an impromptu trip to Philadelphia. Jenny said she was already game, as the general monotony of grad school was really starting to take it's toll but as soon as the friend added "You can meet Ben," she was sold! "We arrived, she called him up and I can still remember what he looked like walking up in a black button down, jeans and adorable shoes. "He's gorgeous!" I whispered to my friend. We stayed in touch over 6 weeks and I invited him down to Florida for my Halloween party (my favorite holiday). He came, we started dating and after 1.5 years doing long distance (through Philly, Baltimore, Florida and Rio de Janiero), graduating from school (finally!), moving to NYC and starting "Big Kid" careers, we said "I do" Jenny told us. Jenny and Ben chose Ramscale Studios, in the West Village for their venue. She said "We were just trying to be low-key and not make every decision into a circus. We just did the online research and Ramscale was the first and only venue we visited. Can you blame us? It was perfect!" Truthfully, we can't! Jenny and her groom love red wine. They saved each of these bottles and used them as vases at their reception. When we asked what her favorite part of the day was, she said "Seeing all of the people that I love all in one room, laughing, talking and enjoying one another. Once in a lifetime moment." Congratulations, Jenny and Ben! Special thanks to Veanne Tsui for these amazing images!
Alison met Justin at a party during their freshmen year of college in Washington D.C., although they didn't start dating until a couple years later. He proposed while the two were hanging out on a Sunday afternoon in their apartment. There are so many beautiful aspects to Alison's wedding. She makes quite the stunning bride and the delicate embroidery on her LD6015 dress really pops against her bright color palette. The wedding took place at the Vander-Ende Onderdonk House in Ridgewood, Queens, NY- an amazing 18th century Dutch farmhouse in the middle of an area that is otherwise industrial. Alison said "We were really taken with that stark contrast of charming historical farmhouse and gardens and urban grit. It had so much personality, we felt it really suited us and would be a great backdrop for our wedding." When we asked Alison which of the photos was her favorite, she said it was difficult to choose as their photographer Corey Torpie did such an amazing job of capturing the wedding (we couldn't agree more!) She noted that she loved the photos they took on Flushing Avenue, that show the industrial surroundings of their venue. But this photo (above) was her favorite because it really captured the energy of that day- a little nervous but so excited and happy. Alison said that the highlight of their big day had to be the amazing array of friends and family that turned up to celebrate with her and Justin. "Having all those people together in one place was indescribable and by far my favorite part of the day." Congratulations, Alison and Justin! And thank you again to Corey Torpie Photography for sharing!!
We are SWOONING over these pictures of our bride, Kathrin. We remember when Kathrin came to the store, detailing all of the things she wanted for her City Hall wedding and photo excursion around Manhattan. It's safe to say that she, along with the incredible talent of Sascha Reinking Photography, exceeded expectations! Kathrin is gorgeous in HB6979, we hope her wedding was everything she hoped for and then some. Many, many congratulations!!
