Miranda: Alex and I met through my family members. He went to university with my brother and two older sisters. We had always seen one another at various sporting events, and parties. Eventually this friendship grew into something more and we both decided we had met the one we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with !
Miranda: Alex took me to the first place we ever had a real date. It was a nice restaurant in the distillery district in Toronto. After a lovely dinner, we were walking through the distillery district when he proposed. It was a beautiful night, and it was just the two of us in the streets. It completely took me by surprise!
Miranda: We decided to have our wedding at my parents farm. I have lived there most of my life and always dreamt that this would be the place where I would get married. Alex and I both love the property and it was the perfect location for our earthy, vintage style wedding. It really meant a lot to our family to have the wedding there. Everything was perfect.
Miranda: We love all of our photos ! The black and white one of us holding hands really is indicative of our feelings for one another. We both look at ease and blissful in the moment.
Miranda: I honestly couldn’t pick just one moment! The entire day went so smoothly, it was so full of love and laughter. Everyone seemed to have the best time. If I had to choose the best part it would be seeing Alex at the end of the aisle, and sharing memories with my family members while they said their speeches.
