We love getting photos of our Saja brides abroad! Michelle & Ciaran's wedding on a sunny New Zealand day is so full of love and joy. Michelle looks so effortlessly stunning in HB6285 from Paperswan Bride and the shots of the couple against the vast landscape are truly breathtaking. Thank you so much to Candy Capco for sharing her beautiful work with us. Congratulations, Michelle & Ciaran!!

Our bride, Jackie's wedding at the Atrium in Wilmington, North Carolina is the perfect start to (a quite hot) summer week! She is such a vision in LD6015 with our twist-tie sash and a simple long veil and we're loving all of the fun shots captured in the Truth Booth by Mike Holloman! Thank you to Erin Whittle for sharing these with us and congratulations again to Jackie & Dirk! Saja: How did you meet? Jackie: We met through friends in Charlottesville, VA where I moved after college and where he grew up. Saja: How did he propose? Jackie: He proposed at a park in downtown Charlottesville where we had our first kiss. Saja: Where did the wedding take place? Jackie: The Atrium in Wilmington, NC, where my parents live. I fell in love with the space right away. Saja: What was your favorite part of the day? Jackie: My favorite part of the day was getting in the photo booth with our best friends! Saja: Which of the photos is your favorite? Why? Jackie: Though I love the traditional photos, I think the Truth Booth photos are hilarious. Of the more traditional photos, I like the photos of Dirk and I with the concrete alley in the background. Thank you to all of the vendors that took part!
Photographer: Erin Whittle Florist: Fiore Fine Flowers Venue: The Atrium Photobooth: Truth booth by Millie Holloman Minister: Gordan Fields We knew that Mandy at Little Vintage Rentals styling with one of our favorite photographers, Kate Ignatowski would be good, but the outcome of this photo shoot seriously blew us away! RM6325 is such a delicate design, with sheer illusion sleeves and embroidery that lends itself so well alongside the olive details throughout this shoot. Such perfect inspiration for the earthy bride! Thanks again to such a talented team! Make sure to check out this feature in the latest issue of Trendy Bride Magazine!

The grand windows at the Old Parish Rooms make for such a stunning backdrop. We love both styling choices of soft white blooms (against her bright hair) twisted into a soft updo, and the gentle braid paired with a leafy crown. Thank you so much to our friends at Rock The Frock Bridal Boutique for making it possible, and the rest of these talented vendors too!

Minerva & Erik's bright and eco-friendly wedding is such a great inspiration to take into the weekend. The delicate flutter sleeves and lightly draped skirt on HB6365 are the perfect fit for her summer wedding at Elysian in LA. Our bride, Minerva is a dietician and opted for seasonal herbs, fruits and veggies in lieu of flowers and centerpieces, encouraging her guests to snack throughout the day! Each detail, down to the thousand paper cranes made by Minerva's mom, is full of thought and love. Thank you so much to Nick Parker of Parkershots for sharing these with us! Congratulations again to such a lovely couple!
There are certain photos that hit home for us here at Saja and this shoot of Minami & Otto around Brooklyn is one of them! We are so lucky to be surrounded by such incredible backdrops here in NYC. From the streets of Park Slope, to historic brownstones, to down in the subway, this shoot touches on so many of them. The photographer, Miho Aikawa, was a Saja bride herself and we love the artful way she captured this couple. Minami is angelic in HB6565, paired with lush greens and whites in her bouquet and floral crown. She alongside her groom in grey make for a truly striking set of images. Enjoy~
Happy Monday! After celebrating the holiday weekend, what better way to start the week than breathtaking wedding photos? Chloe & Justin got married on June 20th (the summer solstice eve) overlooking the Vineyard Sound at Martha's Vineyard. She looks stunning in our HB6123 dress, paired with a lace bolero by Elle & Jae and delicate baby's breath hair flowers. The event was completed by beach terrarium centerpieces, an amazing raw bar (catered by Tea Lane Catering) and incredible music by the band, Philly Slick, talented friends of the groom! Special thank you to Chloe & Justin's friends, Elliot Polinsky, Christian Carroll and Tatiana Buonassisi for this selection of photos and many congratulations to such a lovely couple!! Saja: How did you meet? Chloe: We met in college and dated briefly. We reunited seven years later, only to discover we had both thought about each other often during all those years. When we reunited we were supposed to meet for coffee, but Hurricane Irene hit and we were trapped together for days. The rest was history! Saja: Which of the photos is your favorite? Why? Chloe: My favorite photo is the one where Justin is holding my face in his hands and I have my arms around him. The photo looks like a dream and also the cover of a romance novel! Saja: How did he propose? Chloe: I was dropping Justin off for his annual solo camping trip in the Shenandoah. He had planned to propose on the rock he sat on the night before we reunited. While we were driving up the mountains an unexpected torrential downpour occurred and we pulled over on a scenic overlook. Justin couldn’t wait and proposed in the car with the rain pouring down. He never ended up going on the camping trip. We headed back home together and celebrated! Saja: Where did the wedding take place? What made you choose there? Chloe: Our wedding took place at the incredibly gorgeous Martha’s Vineyard home of our family friend. When my parents told me they had offered to have our wedding there we were overwhelmed with their generosity. At that point we hadn’t decided if we would be getting married near our current home in Charlottesville, Virginia or on the beautiful island we had both come to know and love. Once we saw their house we were instantly decided. Neither of us could possibly imagine a more perfect place to get married! Saja: Is there anything you can point out about your pictures that we might not have noticed? Chloe: Instead of opting for a traditional photographer we had a few of our close friends, who just so happen to be amazing photographers, shoot the event. It felt much more personal that way and they did an incredible job! Saja: What was your favorite part of the day?
Chloe: Our ceremony was our favorite part of the day, but it is hard to choose just one as the entire thing was perfect! It was short and sweet and represented us fully. We loved hearing each others vows the most! Saja: How did you meet? And how did he propose to you? Yurina: We met in college. He proposed in our apartment with a ring pop (there's a personal story to the ring pop which I can't quite explain in this brief space...) Saja: Where did the wedding take place? What made you choose there? Yurina: We chose the Woodstock Byrdcliffe Artist Residency, which is where I was a writer-in-residence in the summer of 2013. Before heading into the holiday weekend, we had to share these shots from Yurina and Jin's wedding at Woodstock! Yurina was so incredibly lovely to work with, and we are so thrilled to share her day full of family, friends and true love. She is so delicately styled in HB6565 with some hair greens and a tulip bouquet, perfect for her springtime affair. Thank you so much to Girish Tewani, a close friend of the groom's, for sharing the photos from their special day with us! Many congratulations to Yurina & JIn, we wish you all the very best~ Saja: What was your favorite part of the day? Yurina: Seeing all of our close friends and family all packed in one room. Because many of us live in various parts of the world, it's generally impossible to see everyone at once like this. It was surreal, but in the best way. Saja: Which of the photos is your favorite?
Yurina: Definitely the first one, with us about to take our vows, with our best friend officiating in the middle. We wanted our ceremony to be personal, original, and authentic to us. We wrote our vows that morning, and I still remember his very clearly. Saja: How did he propose? Christina: He took me to the beautiful Untermyer Park in Yonkers for my 30th birthday. We walked into a lovely gazebo overlooking the hudson river, coincidentally named the temple of love! I had a hunch something was brewing throughout the day but was still so surprised when he popped the question. Best birthday ever. Saja: How did you meet? Christina: We met at work over 9 years ago and have been together (and still working together!) for over 8.5 years. Christina and Alec's woodland wedding is so sweet and full of love. The two met nearly a decade ago at work and we are so thrilled to see their special day with family and friends come to life so beautifully. We love the way Christina paired the softness of our RM6325 gown with a rich bouquet and hair flowers, and the look on Alec's face when he sees the deep v on the back of the dress is priceless! Thank you so much to the bride's friend, Josh of JBW Photography for capturing it and the rest of this truly elegant day! Congratulations again to this lovely couple~ Saja: What was your favorite part of the day? Christina: The ceremony was my favorite part of the day. We had a very short and sweet ceremony but it was truly the most powerful part of the experience. I almost couldn’t get through my vows because I was so emotional but I wouldn’t change anything. A close second to my favorite part of the day would be the bonfire we held after the reception. It was great to kick back and relax after all that dancing! Saja: Which of the photos is your favorite? Why? Christina: My favorite photo is a group portrait with my parents, his mom and my brother and sister in law. It just screams happy to me. Family is really important to us both and this photo means a lot to us. Saja: Is there anything in the photos you want to point out that we might not have noticed? Christina: There’s one great moment captured after we had our big reveal. As we were walking down the steps he got a look at the back of my dress for the first time and his expression is priceless. I wasn’t even aware of that moment until I saw the photo. Saja: Where did the wedding take place? Christina: The wedding took place at Arrow Park Lake and Lodge in Monroe, NY. It was the perfect woodsy setting that we were hoping for. The landscape was stunning and the house overlooked a beautiful lake. Christina said, " I’m so lucky that one of my closest college friends happens to be a wedding photographer! His name is Josh Williams and he traveled all the way from California to photograph our big day. He was so much fun to work with and I could not be happier with the photos. Check him out on the Knot!"

Thank you so much to Riverland Studios for sharing such stunning work and many congratulations to Megan & Chris!
So excited to be starting off the week with such stunningly beautiful inspiration by one of our favorite photographers, Justina Bilodeau. The summer is the perfect time for weddings by the sea and this shoot in Kennebunkport, Maine has a unique, nautical twist. We love the classic styling by Azalea Events of our LD6015 dress with crisp white blooms by Minka Flowers. Thank you so much to all of the amazing vendors that contributed~

Sarah & Seth grew up going to a summer cottage near their venue, Camp Vega in Fayette, Maine and fell in love with the idea of their guests staying in cabins for their wedding weekend! The bride arrived at her ceremony in one of the camp's boats and we love all of the rustic elements incorporated into the decor throughout the day. Sarah is so elegantly styled in our HB6622 with a swarovski flower sash, a perfect fit for the fun, light-hearted energy of the day. Thank you so much to Dennis Kwan for capturing it all and congratulations again to this lovely couple~
After such gorgeous shots of HB6365 in Venice, we were so excited to see what styling Justina Bilodeau had in mind for our DT6366 dress. The richness of the blooms from Minka Flowers alongside the boldly colored decor set such a romantic stage. The subtle sparkle and hidden lace details on DT6366 pair so beautifully with the accessories from All About Romance for a truly moody and ethereal tone throughout this shoot. Enjoy~
Happy Friday! We can't think of a better send-off to the weekend than Kate & Andrew's bold and colorful wedding. Ever since we saw the feature on Style Me Pretty, we've been obsessing over these photos from Heidi Lau and Artiese Studios for LENS Workshops. We love hearing when Saja brides-to-be are planning their destination weddings in Greece, and this gorgeous Santorini-themed styling is such perfect inspiration! Thanks as always to our friends at Sash & Bustle for lending HB6365 to such a talented bunch!
Mallory & Tom's intimate wedding in downtown Charleston is do charming and full of joy. Not even a downpour in the middle of their photos could bring these two down on their special day. She is truly striking in our HB6622 and we love the colorful styling of her bouquet and her groom! Thank you so much to Rach Loves Troy Photography for such beautiful work! Congratulations again to Mallory & Tom!
Happy Friday! We're heading into the weekend with some amazing images from a very stormy shoot at the Baltic Sea. When the forecast for one of Germany's strongest hurricanes came through, things looked quite dreary for Dina (wearing our HB6979 dress from Victoria Rüsche,) Lasse and their photographer, Katja. But with plans for this shoot already made, they continued towards the coast. With just a 15 minute window and a bit of fearless attitude, the result is truly breathtaking. Thanks so much to Katja Scherle of Festtagsfotografien for sharing this beautiful shoot and story with us! Many congratulations to Dina & Lasse!
With so many amazing international retailers, we are privileged with wedding inspiration from around the globe. Today, we're exploring some vintage inspiration inside the walls of a German castle thanks to our friends at Victoria Rüsche. We love the way Kreativ Weddings styled our HB6622 with gold accents and bohemian piece of hair jewelry. Thank you to these incredibly talented vendors for the truly inspired work:

After this week's feature on The Knot, we are so excited to share even more of Jill & Derek's wedding in the Colorado mountains. Jill is so stunning in HB6565 and we love the way she coordinated her simple yellow hair flowers with Derek's tie and boutonniere! Congratulations again to this lovely couple~
One of our all-time favorite weddings was featured on The Knot yesterday, so we thought we would also share some of the gorgeous photos by Julie Saad as a little TBT. Megan was so striking in HB6622 at her beachy Tulum affair! Enjoy~
